The Playground is the free way to try Sentinel Mesh — a single-thread, mobile-first chat at /playground that answers entirely in-country. It’s a surface onto the Mesh gateway, not a separate product: what you try here is the same sovereign pipeline the API and the Platform run on.

The Playground is a surface, not a separate stack: a free chat runs the same five stages, the same guardrails and the same in-country model that a paid API key does. Only the tier and the caps differ.
  • Free to try — sign in and start; the free tier is daily-capped and pre-emptible.
  • In-country by default — every conversation runs on Sky47 Ascend NPUs; nothing leaves the country.
  • Serving transparency — each reply shows the model that served it, a sovereignty badge, and the token count. A Sensitive mode toggle pins the conversation in-country.
  • One pipeline — auth, guardrails, metering, and sovereign routing are the same Mesh path your keys call.
